I grew up in a little town in Michigan and enjoyed doing things that most boys do, from sports to catching crayfish along the river. As the youngest in a family of five, I had a wonderful childhood and adolescence. I always enjoyed tinkering with things and would often hear my dad calling my name if he couldn't fix something. Now I have the pleasure of working with my hands to provide what I believe is a needed and important service in this wonderful community.
I attended college at Brigham Young University where I majored in Russian after living in Russia as a missionary for two years. This was a busy time of life for me. In addition to gleaning valuable lessons from Russian literature and completing all of the required coursework to prepare me for the Dental Admissions Test, I also met and courted my beautiful wife, Rebecca. Together we enjoy camping, running, spending time with family and friends, and cooking delicious new recipes.
I am lucky to have two wonderful children, Helen who is almost 2 years old and Simon who is only 2 months old.
I completed dental school at the University of Minnesota in 2010. I do not believe my education is over, however, as I am a firm believer that true education is not an event, but a process. I therefore continue to avidly participate in continuing education courses so that I can be the best dentist possible. I am honored to join the fantastic team at North Branch Dental and am excited to take part in shaping and maintaining the dental health of our community.
